Core Standards Declaration 2008/2009
As part of the annual health check, the Care Quality Commission asked all NHS trusts to assess their performance against the Government’s 24 core Standards for Better Health.
The Trust must declare this information publicly. Also, for the 2008/09 annual health check, the Care Quality Commission asked the provider arm of each PCT to declare its compliance with the Core Standards for better health separately from the PCT's commissioning arm, and separate scores will be awarded to each of them.
